Today we parted the heaven on Earth at Conrad Koh Samui, after a relaxing foot massage in front of the islands and a late checkout.
The hotel gave us the Mercedes S320 to the airport, which was awesome. :)
Our flight was delayed for about 45 minutes, but we waited in a cute gate, which looked like a resort with free food. Who cares. :)
The flight was nice and eventless, and we landed in Bangkok and took a cheap taxi to the hotel.
And then HELL broke loose.
While the hotel is supposed to be beautiful, everything went wrong.
We were upgraded to the Opera Suite, which is a nice 110 square meters suite, but the hotel being so new - the room was not ready.
There were no hot water, a weak wifi signal, a broken door, and the icing on the cake was that the lights could not be turned off. They tried to fix it until 3:30 in the morning. OMG!
Tomorrow, we are meeting with one of the senior managers of the hotel to discuss these issues.
Unbelievable!
