We landed in Phuket airport in the early evening and after a while took a taxi to our first hotel, which was a simple place just to have a good night sleep prior to moving to a luxury resort the next day.
After settling in, we went for a stroll along the busy Patong beach, which was more noisy than usual due to a worldwide bikers gathering.
We ended the evening in a decent restaurant and went back to our motel-like hotel.
