This has been a lazy day. :) Woke up at 9:30, had breakfast at the club, went back to nap for a while, packed our stuff and then realized our flight is at 15:45 and NOT 16:45, so rushed everything and went to the airport. After an underwhelming breakast, we lazed around the hotel and eventually went to see south east Asia biggest auarium at Siam Ocean World. While the ticket was pricey, it was a very nice experience. After that, we spent some time in Siam Paragon, the fancy mall and bought some swimming truncks on MBK. We then ate a pre-diner at the hotel and went to see Calypso, the most famous lady-boy cabaret in Bangkok, which was expensive and laughable.

After our bad experience with SofitelSukhumvit, we were glad to have a rather early checkout and an early checkinto the Conrad. At first, we were allocated with a nice suite, but after asking for our HHonors Gold benefit, we were upgraded to a HUGE 114 square meters suite on the hotel top's floor - 32nd floor, with a great view of Bangkok,just next to the Presidential suite.:) We lounged around the hotel and Club, had some food and finally headed to Silom for som...

After a horrible night in our suite, we were moved to a similar suite and had a serious chat with one of the managers. Too many things went wrong and he was very sorry to hear, and gave us a free night and a free evening buffet. Yay.. . Still, this hotel left us with a bitter taste. The weather was nice, so we went to see the 100th anniversary for the Titanic exhibition, which was great. We then went to walk in Lumphini park, which was great, with a light rain. W...

Today we parted the heaven on Earth at Conrad Koh Samui, after a relaxing foot massage in front of the islands and a late checkout. The hotel gave us the Mercedes S320 to the airport, which was awesome. :) Our flight was delayed for about 45 minutes, but we waited in a cute gate, which looked like a resort with free food. Who cares. :) The flight was nice and eventless, and we landed in Bangkok and took a cheap taxi to the hotel. And then HELL broke loose. While ...
