We decided to skip the trip to Nikko and planned a day in Tokyo, to close all the gaps that we did not get to see earlier. Today, after a quick breakfast, we took a guided tour to Mount Fuji, lake Ashi and the famous cable car. The tour was nice but consisted of apx. 5 hours of bus and train rides, plus - our Japanese guide was soooooo annoying. Still, the view of the mountain and the lake were great. We got back with a bullet train just in time for yet another feast at the club lounge. :-)

Today, after moving to the new hotel, we returned to the Shinagawa area. The hotel put us in a smoking room, twice, until a non-smoking room was found for us. Today started with a breakfast at a nearby cafe, followed by a trip to visit the lovely photography museum at Ebisu station, which is a treat itself. A short brunch followed and a horrible visit to a modern art museum, which was pathetic, to say the least. We then,went back to the hotel and used our late check out time to finally check out at 4PM. After a good night sleep and an average (yet complimentary...) breakfast, we returned to our room to rest for a bit, packed all our luggage, and headed to town after a short rest.
