We took a taxi to the airport through rush hour, but the airport was not busy so we managed to relax at the lounge. The flight to Milan was eventless, although we left 20 minutes late. Milan airport was almost dead closed when we landed at 22:00. After a loooong time, we got the suitcases and took a train and metro to the hotel. Alas, they gave our room to someone else... . So instead, we got an inadequate room. Bummer. Tomorrow, we're off to the Expo. :)

We decided the hassle of switching hotels in such a short stay is too much, so I cancelled the hotel for the first night and added the first night to the city hotel. Later, the hotel wrote me that they gave us a double upgrade, which is fantastic, as the revenue for those three nights at the hotel ought to have been over 2050US$!!!

Just booked our flights, unfortunately not all business class, but hey, it's a short 4-hour flight. :) I also got two two-day tickets for the Expo for the specific days we're there. So excited!!! :)

I've made two separate reservations for our three day stay in Milan, as we'd be landing quite late and prefer to spend the night at the airport hotel. For the next two nights - I chose a fancy and ultra modern and chic hotel in the center of Milan. All using points, of course. :)

Wow! We never thought it'd be possible to actually visit the Milan 2015 Expo, after have enjoyed Shanghai 2010 Expo so much. But this is actually happening. Yay! :)
