Today, I took the first step and made sure to book 7 nights at 3 Intercontinental hotels, I used points for 2 stays and booked a flexible rate to book the 3rd hotel, This way, i can be as flexible as I need to be.

We visited Danang back in 2012 and stayed 2 nights at the Mercure Danang 4-star hotel (which was brand new then and was since re-branded as a Grand Mercure). This time, however, I'm thinking of trying the super luxurious Intercontinental resort in Danang - using points for the expensive rooms and adding quite a bit to get Club access.
