We started off the day with a quick visit to the amazing Huka falls. We then drove an hour an a half to the Hobbiton movie set and took an amazing tour in the original Shire. Absolutely magical. We then had drinks at the famous Dragon Inn and went back to the hotel even more in love with LOTR. Tomorrow, we're off to Auckland, our final destination for this adventure.

After a lazy morning in the superb hotel in New Plymouth, we rushed towards Waitomo caves. On the way, I got tung by a bee, which resulted in my finger getting swolen badly. The caves were wonderful and after enjoying them, we drove to Taupo, where we'd stay for 2 nights. I managed to arrange an insane upgrade to a gigantic three-bedroom suite. Sweet! :)
