Today, we started our morning with a self made breakfast. We then drove to the nearby Mt. John observatory with its stunning views of lake Tekapo. We then continued towards the stunning Pukaki lake and drove along its banks towars Mt. Cook reserve. Over there, we did a one hour track to Kea point, from where we watched a glacial lake. Left Christchurch this morning. The clock went back to winter time tonight so we sort of overslept... . Took a bus to the airport to pick up our gorgeous brand new Toyota Rav 4. we then drove to Banks peninsula, Geraldine, had a late lunch, bought some groceries and headed to lake Tekapo. Upon arriving to our motel, we went out to see a dark church, buy more groceries and cook some pasta for dinner. Tomorrow we are off to Mt. Cook.
