Took an horrific taxi ride to Chongqing airport and had a short 2 hour flight to Guangzhou.
Checked in the hotel, which is, thankfully, in the airport, had a short lounge rest and we're off to explore Guangzhou in 32 degrees heat. :)

23:30 update: Needless to say we got upgraded to a great executive room... . :)
After the short rest, we took a VERY long metro ride downtown to see the beautiful Shamian Island, which is a European style section of Guangzhou from colonial times. Beautiful!
After an 80 minute ride back to the hotel we had a so-so dinner and soon we're off to bed.
Tomorrow - Guangzhou's safari! :)
