Almost a year to the day, The Sheppards are returning to Europe! Destination this year? Holland, and the Dutch capital of Amsterdam.

We are looking forward to our exploration of a new culture with rich history and a charming backdrop.

Amsterdam will act as our home-base for 9 days, however, we have booked quite a few excursions that will take us into the countryside, small coastal regions, sites in and around the capital (The Hague, Southern Holland etc.), and even a day trip to nearby Antwerp and Brussels, in Belgium.

Our 'Trip of a Lifetime' completely changed our perspective on the world, and we have been anticipating a return to Europe since the day we left it last year. We learned a lot about 'how to travel' in our last great adventure, so we feel like seasoned pros this tie around. Pack light, learn some key phrases, power through the jet-lag and Google-walk the destination city to get your bearings pre-trip.
