We had a relaxing day in Noosa, today. We got the free shuttle bus from our excellent Flashpackers hostel up to Hastings St and Noosa's main beach. The helpful lady in the tourist information office told us that Cyclone Anthony was due to hit somewhere between there and Cairns tomorrow. That wouldn't normally be a problem, except we're flying to Cairns tomorrow! Fingers crossed...

Undeterred, we got a hop-on hop-off ferry ticket and visited Noosaville and Tewantin, lounging about on beaches and cafes as we went.

As the sun set, Noosa's charming restaurants and bars came to life. Unfortunately, the strong dollar struck again and greatly reduced our eating and drinking options :-(
