Crikey! Another day, another zoo :-) This time it was the turn of the late Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo. Another excellent zoo, with plenty of hands-on opportunities with koalas and kangaroos, but a lot more shows than yesterday. Sadly, none of the surviving Irwins were on show.
Afterwards, we got the free bus up to the seaside resort of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. Julie's apprehension at staying in her first hostel was soon allayed by the swimming pool and nicest room of the trip so far. A free sausage sizzler BBQ also helped :-)
We planned to head into town, but watching the tennis from bed won the day in the end.
