Shaun on the Road
First of all, I want to let you know that I was with some people with a digital camera and I now have a few more pictures on my website. Feel free to take a look.
Here is what I have been up to as of late. I hung out in Plettenburg Bay South Africa with my friends I met in Peru. It was a good time. We went to a place called Jeffery's Bay and I bought my first new clothes of the trip. They have surfer clothing factory outlets, so I stocked up on some Billabong and Ripcurl clothing. I also witnessed the world's highest bungie jump. Amazing place. I will never go on that.
From there I went to the costal city of Durban. I met up with my friend Andrew who took time off of his job in Mozambique to do some exploring. He brought along 2 friends of his as well and we spent two and a half days hiking in the Drakensburg, the highest area in South Africa, near the boarder of the tiny nation Lesotho.
Said goodbye to Andrew and the gang and took a flight to Hong Kong. I had a little jet leg, but not as bad as I would have expected from a six hour time difference. My cousin Noreen, who is living in Hong Kong, picked me up at the airport and showed me around the city. Not quite what I was expecting. Honk Kong has huge green areas right next to one of the most crowded areas of the world. The skyline is something else, and the markets are pretty chaotic. I tend to stand out as well, being while and standing a good head taller than most. Go figure.
After a good time in Hong Kong I flew out to South Korea today. I met up with my friends Jennie and Grace. They showed me around the city a little and we will continue to see the area over the next week or so. I'm looking forward to it.
