Up early this morning to be collected for our trip on the Karunda Railway. Ross and Louise had to take the earlier train and have to leave early, as they are flying back tonight to be at work tomorrow. We went up on the train which was a great trip through the rainforest, as we got higher the clouds were starting to break up a bit and by the time we got to our destination it was sunny. Leaving the station we heard someone shout "hey grandad" and it was Ross and Louise on the station bridge. We went up to the village and looked at the shops and then had our first Aussie pie for lunch. Apparently pies are eaten a lot in this country. Can recommend them. We spent another hour with Ross and Louise until it was time for them to leave. We then took a rainforest walk then had a boat trip spotting turtles and crocs.
Tomorrow is D day for Catherine. She has to be at her hotel at 6.30am then it's bye bye for 2 weeks!!
