Guus' bike I want to literally destroy and set alight then walk away whilst smoking a fag like they do in the movies! Yesterday I somehow got the short straw to ride with Guus as his bike literally was in pieces at a Honda garage and wouldn't be finished till '2pm' which turned into 5pm. Bas and Willem headed onto Phong Nha at the national park to reserve a room for all of us when/if we got there. They made it in like 3 hours must of tanked it there it was a good 150+ kilometres. So we waited around the area all day ready for the bike to be fixed. Once fixed, headed off and as I thought, Guus bike broke down. For about 2 hours f***in around with the locals trying to repair it and costing Guus a fortune it was pitch black, Guus had no lights but was working so the nearest hotel was 15 kilometres away so got there and that is the last I want to say about it absolute s***e day. Today, up at 6am and headed straight off to the national park. Luckily, no problems and we got there at around half 9. Dropped stuff off, had breakfast and headed to the dark cave where we done zip lining and walking through a cave and through a mud bath! Great fun mud literally up to our necks in a cave mud fights all over the place! After getting cleaned up and swimming went to paradise cave which was incredible one of the biggest caves in the world. Pictures don't do justice as it was so dark but, wow! One of the best things I've ever seen. After we went back to the hostel, then Bas' bike f***ed up. I must be the AA always there with bike problems never my own! Just left Bas' bike on the side of the road noted our location and got Bas on the back of my bike and went back to the hotel. After this, all pissed off with the bikes we all made the unanimous decision to sell the bikes ASAP so we all posted on a Facebook sales page in Vietnam about our bikes as we were fed up and energy was getting drained by them. Especially Guus! I never want to look at that bike again! Pasta night tonight so decent grub couple of beers and then hit the sack!
