Early start as the air con conveniently stops at 7am so the room was BOILING. Me and Bas went upstairs on top deck before we breakfast an hour later. A lot of waiting around and then we had brunch at half 11 before going to main land to our bus which was taking us to Hanoi. Slept most of the way on the bus, stopped off for something to eat and bought a book about a guy who wrote his story after serving 13 years in a Bangkok jail for heroin trafficking which I couldn't put down I literally read it all today, proper shocking stories! Got back to Hanoi and on the way Guus had found a guy online who can sort our bikes we were buying so we headed to a hotel which was seriously nice in Hanoi centre and then said our goodbyes to Laura who was venturing down south not with us on bikes, we will no doubt see her again shame she couldn't come with us. Absolute diamond that girl. Walked to this guy to sort the bikes as we thought it was a scam everything was PERFECT decent price too plus we could selling them back to him in his other shop in Ho Chi Minh south of Vietnam. Even had 'free beer' on the check list of the package! All was good we chose our bikes and they would be ready in the morning. Walked around bought some Vietnam shirts as standard, got some amazing food and then headed back to the hotel for a early one!
