Got to Yangon at 6pm so a bit later then expected. Pissing down in Yangon literally chucking down so walked around to find a hostel recommended in our Lonely Planet but they had no space so next door we found a ok-ish hostel so stayed there. Couldn't check in till 12 so seeing as it was around half 6 in the morning we just walked around the town, had some breakfast in this lush donut cafe and found a cinema which had Jurassic World on at 10 so would finish around 12 to check in - perfect! Decent film, dunno how the Burmese watch the films there is no subtitles and of course the film is in English so they must just watch the action! FREEZING cold in the cinema we literally both came out of the cinema freezing. So then checked in, went to a few temples and the lying Buddha which was cool. The first KFC opened in Yangon and actually Myanmar a week ago this is the first western fast food place like Maccy D's etc to open in Myanmar so we checked it out later on but it shut at 7pm so will go tomorrow for a bucket ha! Again, chucking down with rain so just went to a restaurant and chilled at the hostel for the evening
