Nice lay in, breakfast and me and Bas then packed our stuff ready to begin our mission to hitchhike to Yangon! :) Said our goodbyes to Laura, Timon, G and Zak. We will be meeting Laura and Timon in Bangkok in a few days time as Laura is off to Vietnam and me, Bas and Timon are heading up to Chiang Mai. Boiling hot heat it was 38 degrees at midday. Had some lunch and began walking onto the main roads. The locals looked like they didn't have a clue what we were doing with our thumbs out towards the road most just beeped and waved! Had some weird guy trying to get us in a taxi and would not leave us alone so kept walking further onto the main road and eventually we just got a taxi into a more popular town away from Inle Lake. Here we tried for 3 hours on this side of the road in the boiling heat it was killing us and burning us no end as well. So eventually, we gave up haha as a bus was leaving at 6pm so we would get to Yangon early morning hours so had a couple of beers and played some card games then got on the bus at 6 from a local travel agency. Will take 9 hours so boshed back some diazepam to sleep on the bus, as per
