Hello all, Im am in Malaysia at the moment as Kathryn said. It is a lot easier to find a pc here as it is first world. This place is pritty amazing very very advanced loads of sky scrapers. The overland tour has finished now and to be honest i am glad was gettign irritated at some of the people on the tour the kept whinineg about the heat, what did they expect?? At the moment i am in the city centre trying to find some new foot ware i.e. shoes or sandles, believe me that is hard to do when you are in a country that ha an average size of a midget. I got the dates wrong i will aravie in OZ on the 21st not the 20th. I am just updating the website with some more pics now, be sure to look at the old albums because there will be new photos added.
speak to you all soon
love shane.

Hi Shane,
Just thought I'd let you know we all saw your photos yesterday but I didn't get a chance post a message. Pretty amazing! The ones with the trees I think are best. I have used one as wall paper on the PC (sad or what)!
How are you keeping? How's the food? What about the mosquitoes, are they biting? How was your trip across country?
Guess I should fill you in on things here, but not much to tell really. Kev has done a couple of days work in Nottingham. Rather a long way to go for a few hours work. He has nearly finished decorating his bedroom, cream walls and beech laminated flooring, looking good. But you know Kev, does things at his own pace. Nigel pops in more often now that he is only up the road but don't think anything too much is going on at his place either. James is James. The pigeons are all breeding now, so Dad has to be on his toes, but so far so good, hopefully it will be a good season. Minor problem we keep getting a visit from a sparrow hawk. At present, the birds are mobbing him and chasing him off, but once he has a youngster in the nest, it may not be so easy.
Well best go, if I think of anything interesting, I'll let you know. By the way, what was the title of the Stephen king book you read?

Hi Bernie,
Shane is currently in Malaysia he is having trouble getting to an internet cafe as he has been in the jungle and was on a small island on Sunday and I don't think the phone system is very good either. He seems well and is now a qualified scuba diver which he seemed really excited about, he said that he was going to do some more diving on the Great Barrier Reef when they get to Australia. They are leaving Malaysia on Sunday 20 February and flying to Brisbane so he will hopefully be able to update the website then with all his pictures. He says that he is still a shade of off white and that it is really hot, I looked at a map yesterday and he is nearly on the equator so no wonder.
I think that is everything that we talked about on Sunday. Hope all of you are well.

Mum
Hi Shane,
Just wondered where you were and what you were up to? Things here are pretty quiet. Look forward to your next set of photos.
Love Mum.

Well ive have found a nice iternet cafe at last. I forgort to bring my camera though DOH!!!! i do have some good pictures though. As i told mum yesterday i have spent the last 2.5 days in cambodia looking at the temples. These are the same templets that Tomb Rader was filmed in. I cant bileave how much of a s*** hole cambodia was all of the local people are still trying to get back on their feet after the cival war. Everone lives in wooden huts supported by bamobo and roofs are made of straw, sounds like something out of a fairytale. "Huf and puf and blow your house down"
I am glad that you are enjoying your book mum. I have read 3 books now in total one by Steven King which was really strange one by Terry Pratchett which was bit of a kids book but ver funy and one by kathryns favorate author james patterson. Whats that book like that yuour reading mum? i.e. whats it about?
So james do you still have your Job?????? and have you found a car yet?
Glad to hear about you house nigel, guess you will have to try and save so that you can get a house of your own, hey?
Im am going to start a 13 hour train jouney today which will be bloody hard work, guess ill have to go find another book. Im hoping that i can find a tv with the saints game on. We are heading towards a natonal park, in the jungle. this will be quite funny. I hoping to see some wild tigers and stuff that would be cool. We also have to look out for snakes and things because there are alot of them about aparently.
anyway speak to you all later

Well the draw has just be done for the next round of the FA Cup and Southampton are playing either Brentford or Hartlepool fixtures to be played on the 19/20 February. Well I understand from your message that you managed to watch the game I missed about the first 15 minutes as I went to Lymington. I got your Mum a present and dropped it round on Saturday she called to say that she had received it. Well I have packed my suitcase for Spain and I have tried to be good and not take too much stuff as I never wear half of it as you know. Anyway best get back to work, will top up your phone on the way home tonight and give you a call tomorrow morning or lunchtime whilst on my way to uni.
Take care
