Hi, I hope that you have now managed to catch up on your sleep after the train journey to Perth, so whats it like? Is it nicer than Bondi? As you know I have finished my exams and am now just waiting for the results I hope that I have passed. Work is ok, its fairly quiet just writing lots of policies and procedures. I am trying to find some hobbies to do to keep me busy and I am seriously considering getting a flute again so am watching ebay to find a cheap one.
Well best go will speak to you soon.
Take care

Hi Shane,
Hope you had a good birthday! It's bank holiday monday here so I have had an extra day off work. Can't imagine what it must be like to have a whole year off! Well, we actually got to the Chelsea flower show on Friday. There was so much to see and it was an incredible hot day for here in England, made it hard work fighting the heat and all the other visitors. Worth a visit, but probably not worth the money, especially when there is such extensive tele coverage. We took the coach, going was fine, even though we were very close to breaking down, but coming back, with no proper air conditioning and no windows to open, and Friday night out of London on a bank holiday weekend, I couldn't have been hotter if I sat in a sauna! Yesterday we went to the Hampahire county show at Romsey, much less stress! Today, Dad finished the main section of the decking, just the path left to do. We had more sun today, so I got the old sun lounger out and tried the decking out. Quite a sun trap really. Well, quick question, what was the Sydney Opera house like? Did you get to see any performances? What about the snorkling? Have you done the Barrier Reef yet? Don't know if you are any where near it as my Austrailia geography is crap!
Best go, take care. Love mum.
Well, Happy Birthday Shane, another year older, and another year wiser! Yeah right!
So what have you got planned for today, maybe a bevvy or two? Hope you have fun what ever you do.
So, what happening here. Dad has nearly finished the decking, it's looking good. Have bought a few new plants as we will create a new bed next to the decking. Peg seems to like it and has already started sun bathing on it when we have had a decent day. Not many of those this week though. We are off to Chelsea flower show on Friday. Something I have wanted to do for a long time, so hopefully, should be a good day. Dad has sarted racing. Came first for the first 2 races, but slipped to second on the other two, long way to go yet, we'll be back.
Not sure if I mentioned, but ages ago, we lost the last fish in the tank. On Sunday I spen all weeked cleaning it out and am intending on getting a few more this weekend. Do you remember the piece of wood I put in the tank, well I'm wondering if that might have caused toxins, so I havn't put it back in and we'll see if that makes a difference. Well, guess I lead such a boring life, nothing much else to say, except take care.
Love Mum
Kev

I was speeking to this aussie the other day he was here on holiday. He told me about these gas stations that were out in the middle of no where. He said because there was hardly any one using the petrall they decided to put a sighn up giving away free sex. He recons when he went there he asked the man what the crack was with the free sex and the man exsplained that to win the free sex alls he had to do was guess the number between 1 and 10 that he was thinking. So the aussie thought about it for a bit and said 8 then the man replied no sorry mate the number was 7.
The aussie guy told me this and i tought it sounded a bit wierd so i said dont you think that maybie he just put the sighn up to get more customers and straight away he replied "na mate its defiantly no scam my wife won twice last week"

Well hello again you, hope that the cough syrup is working as that cough was nasty, I am glad that you are feeling better as I was a bit worried about you and it is quite hard to guess what is wrong with someone when they are half way across the world. Kylie was good not quite the show that I expected but she herself was very good and used my new phone to record some of the songs so will bore you when I come out. Work is so hectic at the moment what with the pay review, recruiting new staff and trying to finish all the uni work as well. Am counting down the weeks till I come out it is 13 weeks on Saturday yippee!!! I have bought a few pressies for your birthday so will send them out to you just don't forget mine!!!!! Hiya,
Sounds like you are still having a good time, bet you were really gutted about not getting a job!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has James been feeding you his secrets??? This surfing and swimming lark seems a bit more dangerous than I thought, serious business! Perhaps you should just concentrate on that tan!
Kev got back from Las Vegas today. He said it was good, you know Kevin, never overstates anything, but when pressed and I asked was it good or excellent, he said excellent. He bought himself a new camera to take with him, looks like you have got more excitement in store for you when you get there! Both he and Ollie went on the roller coaster that shoots you over the edge of the hote (1000ft in the air). Extremely hair raising I believe, but I'll let him tell you about that.
First night of pigeon racing tonight, so Dad has gone with John to take the birds over to the transporter. James was already out when I got home tonight and Kev has now gone to bed to try and catch up on some sleep.
Some slightly good news on the fish front, apparently dad saw 3 fish yesterday, so it looks like the Heron hasn't cleaned us out completely.
We moved the caravan last weekend. It is now in the corner of the garden by next door and behind, or at the end of the pigeon loft. All but one of the fir trees are now down, so I can get 2 new flower beds in. I also finally ordered some decking from B&Q so that should arrive soon. Major job for Dad, but should be worth it.
Not much else to tell at the moment, so take care. Love, Mum
Shane
Hello all,
Glad to hear that yiu are all ok. cant believe that blody heron, get dad to borrow Barrys rifle and blow its f***ing head off!! I have been a little busy as you can guess. We have our own place now a little bungalow about 5 mins walk from the Bondi beach ( Tell james that is where point break is filmed hill know where that is then), and yeah the waves are huge. I seem to spending all my time at the beech at the moment, i really love it, cant say that i ever going to be able to surf though, it is nearling imposibble, although i have found a way to surf the waves by swimming in on them. It is really dangerous here, forget the sharks the rips are f***ing leathal. Last i heard last week about 4 or 5 people died when swimming so have to be careful ( i guess its there fault though they go where the sign say dangerous current.... DERRRR!). What else is there, other than i cant find a job. Alll the agencies want is for us to 2 hours here and there.. and there is no point will cost more to get there than ill make. I am reading alot recently i have managed to get all the way through the harry potters and i guess im looking forward for the next one to come out ( there are really quite good.) i have just been to watch a film it is half price on tuesdays so that always when we go ( Watched the Sahra, was prity good). I also read that Divici Code recently, that i VERY good you should read that, a real eye opener, i think Kev got it for Grandma, i would love to have seen here face when she read that, she'd have been discusted.
Any way take care all cya

Hi Shane,
Just thought I would say a quick hello. What you up to??? Plenty of sun & sea I guess! Quick update on things here. Kev is in Las Vegas. He went on Monday and will be on Wednesday. Kev went with Ollie and on Saturday night, they went down the Langley for a drink. He rode here on his bike and left it here while he went to the pub. After closing, Dad & I heard them pick the bike up and then Ollie could be heard skidding up and down the road. (Big kid like, you know). Anyway, on Sunday it turns out that Ollie managed to break his wrist during his escapades! There was a worry that he would not be able to go to Las Vegas, but they seemed to thing he would be ok.
Dad, me and James went to look at a couple of vans yesterday. The first one, well, talk about a bit iffy! So Dad, polite as ever said we needed to look at another one and we would probably be back later, yeah right!
The second was in Portsmouth. Not a good idea! However, believe it or not, we did manage to find it. This was closer to acceptable, except looked like the back suspension or something in that area was gone, so we didn't bother. Never mind, I am sure something will turn up if we keep looking.
Nigel and Kelly are much the same, as far as I know. Nigel pops in just to make sure nothing has changed!
Just remembered, some bad new, the Heron has eaten ALL the fish! the *astard. The filter in the pond is working reasonably well, and there is absolutely no sign of life. Dad actually saw the Heron in the pond this week. God knows why as he has already cleaned it out. If I get round to it today, I will weave some fishing twine across it. I know its a bit late now, but when we get some more, it should safeguard them.
Well best go now as we are off training, racing starts next weekend so this is their last chance for a training toss.
Take care.
Love Mum.
