Buenos

The last five days have been spent on the beautiful island of Caye Caulker, Belize.  Such a laid back place with a real caribbean feel to it that makes it seem out of place compared to the rest of Central America.

We were lucky enough to get 3 straight days of diving in and saw lots of sharks, turtles, amazing coral and a variety of tropical fish.  Definitely a place we would like to come back to for some more diving and relaxing!

We also spent new years eve on the island, but can´t give much information on the celebrations as Sarah and I were tucked up in bed at around 10.30!  We´re just getting far too old it seems!

After a long day of travelling we are now in the beautiful beach side town of Playa del Carmen on the east coast of Mexico.  Very touristy but we really don´t mind as it quite nice to have a variety of restaurants and shops to choose from.  Tomorrow marks our one year wedding anniversary and to celebrate the fact that we haven´t killed each other after 12 months of travelling and being together all day, every day, we are going diving in the morning and then (provided we can stay awake of course) we will round out the day with a seafood platter and champers!

Only one week left in central america so we are going to enjoy the beach, sun and seafood as much as possible!
