Crazy, crazy, crazy ...

Had a lovely relaxing week in Luang Prabang (quite thankful for that now considering that Hanoi is the craziest place in the whole wide world....)

We went elephant trekking (baby elephant decided to attack me!) and kayaking down the river (in LP), very beautiful and scenic - the green jungless of Laos is so pretty although heat was unbearable out in the open!

Also went to a cooking school in Luang Prabang, now i'm an expert at Laos cuisine - noodles, chilly paste, casserole's, sticky rice, laos salads ... i'm the pro!

Flew to Hanoi, and immediately we knew we'd left the calmness of Laos ... Vietnam is busy, noisy and crazy! The people are quite abrubt and 'in your face', and the roads are just manic; quite frightning!

Heading to Halong Bay tomorrow for a few days...meant to be calm and peaceful...fingers crossed!!!
