Arrived in Luang Prabang a few days ago, and i honestly love this place! Whilst flying over Laos we just couldnt help but going "oh..." and "ahhhh" at everything! Everywhere is so green and beautiful. Luang Prabang is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site so all the buildings are kept in their original form. It's a real french colonial town with incredible arcitecture ... so pretty, despite the fact at 12:30 we've got to be back in our room under our fans as it's just so unbearably hot! the humidity is incredible!

There are gorgeous street markets everywhere too ... so tempting!

Rather than heading down to Vientine (Laos captial) which apparently really aint that great; actually rated as the worst city in south east asia - ironic considering Luang Prabang is considered as the prettiest city in south east asia .. we've decided to stay on here for a few days longer and fly from here to Hanoi (Vietnam) on sunday.

Not sure what activities we'l be doing whilst here, but considering kayaking down to Mekong River at some point and possibly go and play with some elephants!

Abosultely love this place and I just wish that all you guys back home could be here too!
