Beer, tango and the British Embassy!
Yes, its only taken us FOUR weeks for us to confirm your doubts...we are one passport down! (and nine sets of padlock keys!)
Since we've been in Buenos Aires, all we've done is drink silly amounts of alcohol, bust silly amount of moves (including one forward roll in a break dancing competition!) and sillilly lose a passport! We've hardly seen any sights although not many people get to see the inside of the police station! (and get invited back by half the police squad for drinks!)
This city is mental and really makes Ibiza look like Blackpool! (we've been here 5 nights, and not once made it into bed before 7am!)
Cant really tell you much else about the city...although today we visited Eva Perons (Evita) grave, bit eary.
Went to watch Rivers play Chicago yesterday in the football, that was one crazy experience! Rivers lost which proved to be a little frightening as the crowds went mental and started to throw bottles. We were'nt allowed to leave the stadium until the away fans were gone!
Went to the races in fancy dress! About 20 of us all dressed like idiots expecting an all day drinking session...although turned out that we wernt allowed to drink alcohol there, no sitting on the grass, no photos...to summarise, no fun! And we all looked like d*** ! But determined to keep moral high, we went out, bought a few bottles of champagne, and ended up having a belter!
Went tangoing, not sure we'l be taking that up! Salt was pulled up to the stage by the lead dancer, she stood on his foot every other move. He soon got rid of her!
Back to the Embassy tomorrow, 200 pounds down...and more wine to drink!
love you all x
