Sandboarding, Thanksgiving and another 20 hour bus ride

After surfing we felt there was nothing stopping us to dabble in another highly skilled sport...and we were right, there was nothing stopping us! Sandboarding was brilliant fun, suprisingly hard, but after a few tips from the yanks, we could just about handle it!!! Although getting sand in every place possible wasnt really that pleasant!!

We also had a game of golf with the lads....Salt whipped their arses....Sez not so succesful (but hey, its the taking part that counts!!!)

For the first time the guys were away for Thanksgiving so we decided to join them for a meal...they explained the idea of thanksgiving is to eat as much as you possibly can before falling asleep....so tick that box too! we went for an all you can eat brazilian bbq....wow, it was amazing...yum yum yum!

So leaving Florianopolis and the guys was tearful, back to our loneseome again! Im sure we´l get over it!!!

Now in Montevideo, seems like a very rich city, although a lot cheaper than Brazil. (thank god, we went a little over budget there!). Designer shops everywhere...yikes.....walked across the sea front yesterday, about 10 miles. Today going to the Old City which has been described as looking very European, may sample some wine!
