Left Nelson on the 25th to drive to Westpor. stopped off at Buller Gorge (longest swing bridge!) Then to go see the seals at Tauranga Bay. Lots of them just lazing around and managed to get quite a good few pics! Tues 26th - Westport - Fox Glacier Left Westport and stopped off at Punakiki to see the Pancake Rocks...rocks that are formed like pancakes on top of each other. we then had a quick stop in Greymouth and then stopped in Hokitika for lunch. After having a look on the beach for Jade and being highly unsuccessful, we went to the Jade factory to see what we could have found! Then had a quick stop in the information site, who told us that tomorrow would be a good day to go up the glacier so we headed straight for fox glacier town.
