We returned to Chiang Mai yesterday after a peaceful couple of days in Pai. I have just spent today doing a Thai foot massage course which I have really enjoyed. It was quite hard work as you had to repeat everything so many times to help remember it but I hope it will be worth it. Heading South to Sukhothai tomorrow to see some ancient Khmer sites.

Took the bus to Chiang Mai yesterday (Saturday). This is the first place that I have visited prior to this trip so far and it feels busier, more commercial and harsh than I remember it being before. think that probably says more about me and where we have been visiting than it does about Chiang Mai!
