Am finally back in my city! It's hot and dry!!! Kids and I visited the RCMP heritage centre. It was very interesting. They had great fun dressing up at the end of the visit. Feels a bit strange being a tourist in Regina. Went to the farmers market downtown and did a bit of shopping. Kids are happy just being at Mitchell's playing the WI Didn't have to come across the world for that! Crystal is here too so we are actually spending a lot of 'home' time...

Had a fantastic time with family in Saskatoon. Dad came down with Christine and Sarah. Kim came down with Ashley. Uncle Bill came down from Kelowna. The rest of the clan were already there. We had a great BBQ at Norb and Diane's. We were welcomed with a big cake and had a great visit with everyone. We stayed at Linda's place and had a great couple of days while dad and kim were there. Took in a bit of 'Taste of Saskatchewan' and had a nice meal at Grandma...

Life at the cottage in Saskatchewan. The kids had such a great time at Grenfell Beach at Mitchell's cottage. Kim took us all out tubing on the first day. I haven't seen Pol smile so much in a long time. They all loved it. I even went on and stayed on until the kids made Kim throw me into the water. My arms are still aching! The next day was the big Roughrider game and there was a big party going on at one of Kim's friend's cottage.

Got to Winnipeg after only 3 hours - yippee! Great visit with Rob and Michelle. Checked out the Fringe festival downtown. Kids had a lot of fun! Off to Sask this morning .... Can't wait!

Just lost my long story................. To make a long story short, had a very long drive to Grand Forks. Left Escanaba at 8.30 am and with all the pee stops, food stops and stretch stops, we ended up in Grand Forks at 8.30 pm - 12 hours in the car! Decided to stay for the night even though we were only 2,5 hours away from Winnipeg. The kids were great during the trip. Thank God for those dvd players! I lost count after their 6th movie! Saw a dead deer, 2...
