Well here we are at LAX waiting to catch our flight, quick trip down from San Francisco and a few hours wait, bags checked in and once again we are sitting in the gutter having a smoke (unlike New York when we had to sit in gutter and eat our donuts). Today is our last full day here, caught the hop on to Alamo Square and had yummy lunch in the park, that's after nearly needing oxygen after the uphill walk from the bus. Hop on bus tour today and we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge, it was a beautiful warm and sunny day, thought about walking the bridge for a nanosecond, and stayed on the bus. Today we rode the Trolley car through the very very steep hills of San Francisco, the lines were ridiculous but a large group let us go first so our wait was only ten minutes, they crowd the people on so much it is hard to see much, managed to get an outside seat so we were able to film some of the ride. Today (Friday) we took a river cruise around Manhattan Island, up close and personal with the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Lunatic Asylum, got to cruise under the Brooklyn Bridge and the many many other bridges along the way, saw Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, Harlem, also the Circle Line cruise terminal where we caught the boat was where the plane landed in the Hudson a few years back, loved the day so much.
