Well we arrive at our final WA destination before heading into the NT.
The much awaited Lake Argyle it is 35 kms from Kununurra and about 30kms to the border into the NT.
The road in is very winding and narrow but the final beauty of WA end result is the Lake Argyle and once in the CVP we see the beauty of it when we board the Sunset Cruise boat to see the massive span of water and its landscape that it holds.
We set off in a bus and then head to the boat departure point and we are set sail out into the vastness of the area.
We love the water but being on board this vessel is wonderful and the cool breeze and swiftness of the boat is relaxing, especially as we have taken our own bottle of champers for the ride much to the wishes of others who has wished they had done so too.
The highlight being the swim with a noodle and either a can of beer being thrown at you which will float once thrown or passed a glass of wine. It is a wondeful experience and watching the sun beginning to set is such a personal experience needless to say we were one of the last out of the water and pretty well one of the first in!!!!
The next day we hit the infamous Infinity Pool and it is just spectacular set on the edge of the rock face over looking the Lake and whilst the water is very fresh it is worth getting wet to see the view.
We leave today for the NT - updates soon
take care

Helen Hussey Hi Alida, I have just caught up with your adventures thus far. So glad WA has shown you some spectacular sights, shame NT wasn't so memorable. It's freezing here, so I'm very envious of you enjoying the warmth up North. Enjoy the next adventure that awaits you. Love Helen. xx
