Left Willare Bridge early and headed for Fitzroy Crossing, we stopped for breakfast along the way and arrived around 10am. We stayed at the Fitzroy Lodge CVP and it was really lovely, enjoying the pool and the open grounds. The next day we took the open top boat ride into Geikie Gorge - just sentational. The gorge is going to be renamed as Mr Geikie who the gorge was named after has never been to the Gorge. It was named after him by the fellow who founded the Gorge. It will be given the Local indigenous name starts with a D and couldnt pronounce it.
