After a quick stop in Halls Creek - which we were quite surprised of how pretty tidy the town was and again the infrastructure of the town has grown.
Stopped at the famous French bakery and bought some bread, the busiest shop in town.
We decided that a Helicopter fllight over the Bungles was the best way to see it and so booked it at the tourist bureau. We headed to the very expensive Bungle CVP $50 a night - no trees, very sparse and dry but as we had a early flight we just enjoyed the air con and waited for our anticipated flight the next morning at 8am.
WOW it was amazing and I am so pleased that we did it. I got to sit in the front of the Robinson chopper with pilot Duncan who had his best double pluggers on. Simply breathtaking and exhilarating especially when we banked down into the gorges. Picanninny and Catherdral gorges were beautiful and honeycomb rock formation is a vision from the air.
A must do on your list if you havent done it - start saving now.
Next heading to Parry Creek Lagoon and Wyndham
take care love to all
