Going to be heading out to Coffs Harbour this morning. Had a reasonably good time here on the Gold Coast, just have to watch out for the scam artists which are everywhere. Got in to the Gold Coast and checked in to Treasure Island caravan park and resort. Supposedly this place doesn't cater or tolerate 'Schoolies'. Plenty of school leavers at the park making a massive amount of noise, can only hope that this doesn't continue lol. Otherwise a pretty nice caravan park with 2 or 3 pools, and plenty of activities for the kids to get involved in.

Arrived in Noosa at around 4.30pm and set up camp for the week. Kids checked out the jumping pillow and drooled over the pool. Hired a car (Hyundi Getz - do not hire one of these, they feel like they're running on 1 cylinder). Familiarised ourselves with the township of Noosa. Took the kids to Aussie World and had lunch at the Etamogah Pub which is nearby. Aussie World proved to be a dissapointment and wouldn't really recommend it to anyone, it may be better...

Drove out to Goondiwindi from Dubbo today. A damn long drive, approximately 6 1/2 hours along the Newell Hwy. Stopped over at Coonabarabran and checked out the fossils of Australian Megaforna. Finally got in to Goondawindi on a nice 33 degree day. Much nicer than back home in Melbourne where it's storming.
