Drove out to Goondiwindi from Dubbo today. A damn long drive, approximately 6 1/2 hours along the Newell Hwy.

Stopped over at Coonabarabran and checked out the fossils of Australian Megaforna.

Finally got in to Goondawindi on a nice 33 degree day. Much nicer than back home in Melbourne where it's storming.

Went to our onsuite site and in the toilet was a green tree frog (will post pics later of this one). Lucky I saw it before I used the loo hahaha.

Bat's were everywhere as dusk set in. Will check out the billabong in the morning before setting course to Noosa where we'll stop for about 6 days.

Looking forward to getting up to Noosa where we'll catch up with lifelong friends of the family Ralf and Eileen and their son Tim. Can't wait to see them after many years. Also looking forward to settling down for a week and hiring a normal car to drive around in.
