Only just got back into checking your site as its been a bit hectic this past months or so with Celtic Connections and lots of other stuff. Apologies for forgetting your birthday buy I did get you a present. Thanks to SOULSEEK I now have an MP3 of Over the Moon, Over the Bloody Moon by the Pretty Things which I was unable to track down to put on your CD before you left. However as you said not to send attachments to your email address I cannae send it you. So will just have to sing it to yoursel!!!!
Anyway life goes on here and I am going to miss your annual visit this month for the rugby and the usual shenanigans we get up to over your Glega weekends. Sammy Dows will be wondering ehere you are.
So just to cheer you up just in case you are really fed up with seeing all these flipping kangarroos, kaolas and kylies and missing the daily treck into work in London and of course your trip to Glaega, here is a wee thing for you.
The artistic alumni od Embra are none to pleased that Glesga is thing about having its own film festival. "HOW DARE YOU WE HAVE ONE OF THE BEST FILM FESTVALS IN THE WORLD >>>>>SCOTLAND DOES NOT NEED ANOTHER ONE" the shreiked from underneath their fur coats ( and nae knickers!!!)
Anyway in the Herald Scotland stop daily we have been having fun coming up with the names of fullims we would have at a Glesga Fim Festival Hers are some suggestions I came up with that appeared in print this week.... and a few that didnt.
Apokeochips Noo
Day of the Jaikey
Dr Naaaw
Toi Story (thats a famous gang byraway)
Buckfast at Tiffanys
Huns of Navarone
Up the Close Encounters
Thunderbawbags
Far from the Midding Crows
Silence of the Bams
Nightmare on Elmbank Street
I hope this makes up for you missing your annual taste of the Glesga banter....oh the banter!!!!
Take care up in these remote spots and dont go swimming with stingrays Eric.!!!!
Lots of love the Buchan Bard

Thanks for the postcards it was lovely to recieve them. Good to know you're still having the time of your lives. I managed to sell one of my paintings and I'm trying to get an exhibition the middle of March. First I have to send 5 to a panel of judges and if they like them then I get 1 square metre of space amongst a dozen other painters. We're snowed in at the moment, can't go anywhere because of drifts up to 6ft high, no newspaper deliveries or mail, if it keeps up there'll be no food left in the supermarket and we'll have to eat our guinea pig.
Love Louise, jacob and the bairns.

I would just like to state I'm not that fat and that Maggie and Eric are rotten photographers. What happened to the airbrush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dog Hamish on the other hand is just as cute in real life.

G'day guys, great to see your latest updates - and playing golf with the kangaroos must have been a load of laughs. My money's on the guys with the long tails! Everything over there looks really nice and you are both looking well. Must be all that Aussie beer/wine.
Cheers, Ron and Dot

So, Eric, you've caught up with me again - I mean being 57 ! I can't believe it was a year ago we were off to Murrayfield for the rugby. I presume you saw the Calcutta Cup score ? They were very poor. I don't think I mentioned that I went to Murrayfield last November to see them play Australia and get thumped. You could see that there is not a great depth to the team. Mind you, we saw them beat France ! I suppose you'll be supporting Australia now.
Anyway hope you had a nice birthday and didn't have too much of a hangover.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC. HAVE A FAB DAY.
