G'Day (That's another Aussie greeting comparable to Yousa ! )
I think we missed your birthday by a couple of days Margaret but as, I said to Aileen, when I reached 60 I wasn't too keen to be reminded of the fact, will your pension be sent out or are you going to let it build up for when you return. Another thing, and we're only thinking of your welfare here, should a woman of your age really be riding a bike without stabilizers, we're very surprised at Eric for allowing it. Anyway we're sure a good few bottles of Sanatogen were downed to celebrate the event nevertheless and please accept our congrats on such a momentous occasion. Whilst in the Barossa Valley and visiting the many vineyards and production plants have a look at the visitor books and see if you can locate our names, it was only 25 years ago so it might be in the antiquarian section but I'm sure if you ask they'll dust it down for you. We've been reading your other messages and I find it very disappointing that Mr Buchan, an obviously deluded maroons supporter with Eastern European affiliations, should choose not to comment on the fact that the Hibbies picked up the CIS Trophy the week before the rather fortunate 1-0 victory at Easter Road. Envy is one of the most undesirable of the seven deadly sins but at least it's green (does Jim know this ?) and when was the last time a Jambos fan made No1 in the charts? I'm trying to remember if it was Jackie Dennis, he was in my class at school you know but I remember him being quite sensible so perhaps it wasn't him, okay he danced on top of a table in a kilt on the Perry Como show but that was just to promote his single (can ya guess what it was Eric ? to be read in a Rolf Harris accent). It's Easter Bank Holiday Monday and the weather is fine so we're away oot tae' dae' some shoapin' (maybe some wine but it's not certain LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE !!!!). Hope this finds you well and contented and don't worry Margaret we know your only 59!
Lots of Love Johnnie and AMO XXXXXXXX

Hi guys its meeeeeeeee. Christine has gone off for a glass of ruby red so I thought I would jump in while she has her head down the pan. (Christine says this is poetic licence)
I had an evening to celebrate Debs getting a decent job at last after working for that crap organisation BONMARCHE. I hope things will be better for her now. Christine and I are playing Ian Matthews 'Brand New Tenessee Waltz' at the moment which brings back so many memories of the Eric the Fish.
Dennis and Debs and wee Bill and Andy and Christine were up or a meal tonight and it was a good night. Incredibly warm and summery tonight like a July day. Come on you Global Warming I Love You!!!!!
Ian the brother and I are going up to Mintrose to do our family history stuff this weekend. Checkin out the old graveyards here and there. Got back to 1791 on the Buchanies side and the BASTIRDS actually came from ootside BRECHIN!!!!! Can you Adam and Eve that we are actually Brechiners after all we said about these sheep ...lovers!!!!!!!!
And on top of that our grandad was born in Albert Street under the sunshine on Leith!!!! And me a Jambo!!!! (SPIT!!!)
Anyway you two lovely people. Have a Happy Easter wherever you are. All the best from Christine and Jim

cheers. Just had a great night at Jim's celebrating Debs's new job. Everyone else left about 10.30 but Jim and I have been forced to drink red wine for a few hours longerl. Blast from the past tonight "Fill Your Head With Rock" & "Rock Machine Turns You On". I'm off home to find my vinyl!
Jim wants me to tell you about Hearts beating Hibs on Sunday but some things are better left unsaid. They were really lucky. A good time was had by some in Tennants!
Apologies for not being in touch, someone has to be the worst correspondent
Glad to hear you're having a fantastic time, promise to do better at keeping in touch
California beckons on 8th May for 3 weeks .

Have just noticed I've sent the reply to your e-mail with the subject title as SPAM so don't delete it cos it isn't really spam, it's a very nice select slice of ham instead !
Elspeth And Nors
Hi guys, I have only just accessed your web site- Nors has been checking your progress over the months - looks like a fantastic trip so far. The pictures of Sydney brought back happy memories. We've just returned from a couple of weeks in Cape Town and are missing the heat. We're planning a trip to New Zealand early 2008 to see yougest son David who has been there for two years now. He's currently based in Tekapo which is 2 hours south of Christchurch. Look forward to seeing more of your adventures.
Lots of love Elspeth and Nors xx
Dot And Ron
Had just sent off the e-mail saying the parcel had arrived when we checked blog and found your new update. It all sounds as if you are really enjoying Tasmania(snakes and losing bits of Annie excepted).
love Dot and Ron.
