Today- Thursday 22nd March we had a free morning before getting the local bus to Phnom Penh. It would take use 6 hours to get there. The public bus wasn't too bad, we had air con, comfy seats, a lunch box and free water. They also played English movies on the tv. I have got a bit behind with the blog updates- here is the update for Wednesday 21st March. We woke up at 4am and had to meet at reception at 5am for our tour guide to pick us up. We got to the Angkor Wat entrance and had to pay $20 for a one day pass. We then went through and sat on the steps near the entrance to watch the sunrise behind Angkor Wat. It was really beautiful. We arrived in Asia after two flights on Sunday at 11pm. We checked straight into a hotel near the airport and went straight to sleep. That morning we went to breakfast which was by the pool.
