Off this morning by train to Cordoba to see the sights. This may surprise you but there is an old Moorish Mosque that was converted into a Christian church once the Moors were conquered and deported. Cordoba is a beautiful small city with lots of antiquities from Roman bridges to Moorish Mosques and Catholic Churches. Not too surprising, we found a great spot for lunch after touring the Cathedral/Mosque, the Caballo Rojo.....no they didn't have horse meat on the menu. They did have an impressive array of Andalusian delicacies and we tried several. We returned to Seville later in the afternoon via a super efficient Spanish rail system. Travelling by train is soooo civilized. City centre to city centre at 300km/hr, watching olive and citrus trees slip by your window, no muss no fuss. You don't have to take your shoes off and subject yourself to the airport security grope. Train travel is where it's at, airports are so 20th century. Adios muchachos.
