Today we had another lazy day. Not much to report really. We had breakfast, went shopping and sent a parcel home with some souvenirs and stuff we don't need. We could really do with sending back half of my suitcase (Saz) as I didn't realise quite how many tops I had stuffed in oops! We met up with our intrepid group this afternoon who we will be travelling over to Cambodia and Vietnam with for the next 2 weeks, setting off tomorow at 6.30am. There are a total of 12 people in the group and our guide Sok who seem nice - there are British, Australian, Canadian and 1 German on the tour. We had a minor disagreement as the Sok said we should all put in $15 to cover tips throughout the trip but we thought this was a bit much as we had just given him $200 each for local payment and we would have preffered to give the tips by ourselves to those who deserved them. The aussies agreed with us and said they never tip anyone but the canadians said they always tip anyone anywhere and thought we were stingy! Oh dear not a good start! A plus side to today was that we managed to upload our photos onto the web - check out the photo album!! Thanks again for all the messages - keep them coming!
