It was our last day in hong kong so we got up early and prepared for our next part of our travelling journey, we decided to go to see the beautiful ping nong 360 cable cars going up to the small village style which had buddha temple on the view, few shops and famous signpost pointing out the distance of kilometres to places such as New york, India, and Sydney from the ping nong 360. From the start on the cable car after paying 60 HK dollars which equals 6 pounds back home, it was quite worth it in my opinion because after we got on the cable car going up, we saw so many beautiful views down below, there was rivers, trees and unique buildings on show. i couldnt believe that i could see the hong kong airport just from a short distance to where we were! there was planes flying overhead, i remember thinking it will be me on the plane at 9pm as that was the time we fly off to Sydney. i took a lot of pictures as there was many pretty landscapes on the view. The journey took a half hour from the bottom to top which felt like a relaxing experience looking out, once we arrived at the village, i was gobsmacked to see the golden buddha temple, it made me feel at ease just staring at the buddha for ages! i bought a crepe as they call it (pancake for me!) with chocolate and cream, heaven! :) We didnt have a lot of time because we had to go to the airport at 6pm to check in, we queued up for the cable car to go back, finally after twenty minutes or so. i saw a lovely picture taken when we was on the cable car by a professional photographer so we all decided to buy one picture. We were in a bit of a rush to get back to the locker where we stored our backpacks but the lockers wouldnt work so we had to ask someone who worked there to sort it out, after a while of waiting we got the backpacks and intended to get a taxi to the airport but the taxi driver refused to take us because the airport was too much of a short distance! i was amazed as there was a poster on the stand where the taxi was waiting, and there was a fare quote for the airport! After a debate, we went to catch a bus to the airport and arrived just in the nick of time at 5.47! Sydney here we go!
