Hi Everybody, Just a quick update to say that we are now in Bangkok and its raining!!!!!! Got a night and a day in Bangkok then off to Chaing Mai for our hilltribe trek so won't be near civilisation for a few days or so. We had a great last few days in China, in Shanghai. We went to the top floor of the world finance tower, which is the worlds highest observatory (474 m) above sea level. Met up with friends Mel and Jon and stayed in there lovely posh home for 1 night and had drinks at the top floor of the Ritz. Mel if your reading this, thanks soooooo much for everything. We had to retreat back to our travellers ways and stay in hotel. Had a farewell meal with group which was nice and went to see China's famous acrobatic show (Pictures to follow, the hotel we're in also doesnt have facilities to upload pics, but will upload asap!!!! We got to the airport in China using the Magluv which was great as its soo quick (270mph), fastest train in the world. We have a group meeting in half an hour so will get to meet our new group who we will be with for next few weeks. Our taxi driver who bought us to hotel in Bangkok was crazy, telling us about Manchester united football club, bin laden, saddam hussein, clubbing and the mafia on tuk tuks lol. Its sooooo cheap in Thailand. After the meeting I am going for a well deserved massage (1 hour costs 4 pound). Be in touch soon , much love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
