Gday, from Oz!!!! Happy new year everybody!!!! Havent been up to much since my last update but i will still fill u in!!!! Well we had xmas day on the beach and then boxing day we met up witha few of our friends and wandered around Sydney, we visited the Harbour bridge and walked up the viewing Pylon, we then headed to the opera house, botanic gardens, circular quay and the Rocks where we ate yummy street food!!!! We then headed off to the pub to watch a bit of cricket, which i really dont get all i know is that were winning, i think!!!!! We then headed back to hotel and i cooked me and jade some bubble and squeak but it wasn't the same!!!! The next day we headed off on our Blue mountains trip! The trip was cool and was made better by our cool bus driver called rod we called him bill as he looked like bill bailey!!! Bill took us to all the cool places in the blue mountains, we rode the worlds steepest train (see pic) scary stuff!!!!!! We then headed to the Grose valley for some amazing views and lots of steps!!! After this we had a choice to walk around a bit more or get some beers and chill, every1 picked the booze!! So we headed to a place called flat rock where we watched the world go by whilst swigging on a bottle of cider!!! We headed back to sydney around 4pm and arrived back around 6pm, we were so knackered we just had a quiet night!!!! The next night we had the Oz party bus, which was good but not as good as the ultimate party in Cairns!!!! The bus took us to 6 different bars all over sydney, we started at the Darling Harbour at pontoon bar! The next day was nye! We had to drag our bums out of bed at stupid o clock in the morning so we could secure our selves a spot 4 the fireworks!!!! We ended up at a disused ferry terminal right on the seafront opposite the opera house and next to the bridge!!! The view of the fireworks was second to none and well worth the 12 hour wait!!!!! After the display we headed back into kings x which was a task in itself, with everybody trying to leave the city!!!! We finally got back and crashed in our rooms!!!! New years day we all met up and went for a nice Thai meal near our hostel to bid farewell to some of the people we had met along the way!!!

Monday night we went and visited our friend dave who lives near Manly beach, we met his flat mates and his girlfriend and cooked us all a mean bbq!!! Yum!!! We are now in a place called Cheltenham, which is in the sydney suburbs!!! We are staying with our friend Lucy whilst she house sits, nice to be away from the hostels for a while.....only 2 more days then back on to the Oz bus for a 3 day drive down to melbourne!!!!!
