After yet another early start (I really think this needs to be re-evaluated as part of the tour) we were on our way back to Hanoi. Once again it seemed to take forever to get back. This seems to be a trend here with slow travel from A to B. However, it was also a slightly uncomfortable journey back as they managed to cram over 26 people into a small minibus...folding seats all the way down the aisle so no getting off in an emergency from the back!

We arrived back at Hanoi a little tired and smelling rather horrible thanks to the lack of showers and after checking into the Hostel again I just had to put my washing into the laundry. NO amount of spray was going to make them wearable again that's for sure lol. I enjoyed my time at Ha Long Bay with the Hostel and would recommend it as a tour but only if you're interested in the combination of a booze cruise with some activities thrown in.

I got sorted and went to get some Pho with Jason before he went to get his night train. I am staying another night in Hanoi and then off to Sa Pa tomorrow night by train to do a couple of days trekking and then moving south in Vietnam.

This is only a short blog entry as it was basically a travel day but I wanted to share the picture attached.
