I woke up early as usual in time to see some of the sun appear over the horizon, Vicky was leaving today so I would now have the bungalow to myself till I left Don Deth. I thought I was dreaming sat on that veranda when I saw a Monk come flying past in a motorised boat...I guess they have to get from A to B somehow lol.

Today was a bit of a nothing day, I went out to get some dinner which was Spaghetti Bolognaise. Now I know that's very Western and not really original but I was thinking about mum's yesterday and I prefer mum's. Met up with a few people I met last night, Isaac from Adelaide, Johnno from Birmingham and Stu from Brighton in a little bar called The Street Bar. FYI they do a very nice BBQ and you have to have the pork chops, apparently...since they wouldn't shut up about them lol.

I went and Skyped home tonight and wished Andrew a happy 30th birthday. They're on their way out later with Auntie Debbie and Uncle Joe to celebrate so I can see them hanging tomorrow morning! I realised today I had lost a lot of weight through being sick, almost half a stone I calculated when all my clothes are too big! Want to say thank you to everyone who wished me well on Facebook, can't believe I'd been sick for over a week almost.

Bumped into Shelly and Darren again tonight they'd been to Tad Lo which is a home stay village in central Laos and a trip to the caves. Should have done that really but if I get bored here I'll leave and go there instead. Booked a Kayaking trip for tomorrow, let's hope I have the energy to get out there and do it!
