• had to tell her whinging co-kayaker to MAN UP and PADDLE several times on the fjord kayaking trip. (3/7/09)

• is avoiding the hostel common room and Cletus the slack-jawed yokel from NC who is watching 'America's Wildest Car Chases - Ladies on the Loose!' and fees the need to whoop and holler at the hilarity of it all (4/7/09)

• couldn't resist feeding the Icebreaker addiction and now has a new shirt. This one is blue. (4/7/09)

• is entering Russia armed with dense Russian literature, tea bags and a spork. Clearly I'm ready for anything that train has to throw at me.(5/7/09)
