Hi everyone,

We just wanted to pick your brains. Me and Vik were walking around Kutching (Malaysia) on monday when we noticed all the locals coming out of the shops to look up at the sky. It was a really hot day, the sky was clear blue and we couldnt believe our eyes as we looked up to see the sun with this huge dark halo surrounding it and a rainbow on the outside edge. We frantically asked everone 'what is it'', we had some replies (all different) one said it was something to do with the moon another said it was due to the recent rain then sunshine the most interesting was that it meant someone very important was going to die! So we are still none the wiser and thought that maybe one of our clever friends or family would be able to enlighten us, so please let us know if you have any idea as its really bugging us. Even if it's not a scientific explanation, open to any suggestions even ones that make us laugh!
