Hi, In Paranagua now which is a nice fishing town and the sun is shining!! We left Curitiba this morning and took the train to here. It was supposed to be the most beautiful train journey and it was quite spectacular all through rain forest and past waterfalls but it wasnt much more spectacular than many of the bus trips we have been on. My opinion of the train trip may have been slightly distorted due to the fact that i had a cracking hangover and was more concentrating on not being sick! Embarassingly we only had 3 drinks each but they were the strongest Caiprinhas ever and we were all very merry! we also managed to catch the attention of two middle age brazilian men who decided to come and sit with us which was an interesting experience as they spoke no English and we speak no portuguese! They also didnt grasp the fact that they werent very welcome! We are moving on to stay on an Island called Ihla do Mel tomorrow so we are quite excited. We just hope the weather holds out!
