Hi! Have just left Ilha do Mel (Honey Island), had a lovely few days despite the rain that seems to be following us round! Luckily it only rained at night. The Island is about 1 1/2 hours by boat from Paranagua where we were staying before. I dont think that it is very far but the boat was really slow and the floor vibrated so much i thought my foot was going to vibrate off!! Near the end of our boat trip we are nearly died of fright as another boat came powering towards us on a direct collision course. Our sheer terror turned to disbelief however when we were realised that we were going to have to change boats mid sea with our massive rucksacks making the whole operation that little bit more dangerous!! Ilha do Mel was nice - though a little bit smelly! There was loads of beaches to visit and some caves which were cool. Yesterday we took another boat trip - one which required clambering across 3 boats to reach our first boat then somehow calling our other boat back from mid sea as it dissapeared! Was worth it though as we went on a dolphin trip and saw hundreds of dolphins, some came right up to the boat - was definitely the highlight of my trip so far! We are off to Igauzzu falls tonight on a 10 hour overnight bus which will be fun but im really excited because it looks amazing. Hope everyone is ok Sarah xx
