After around 7/8 hours I arrived at Nelson where I hopped off the bus to stay with my old school friend Hannah monks & her fiancé simon for two nights in their beautiful home with a stunning outside deck looking out to the jet blue sea! I loved it here, they really looked after me, I had a nice soak in a bath, lots of tea, steak, bbq, wine oh it was refreshing! I had the best nights sleep I've had since travelling! They took me to rabbit island one day & we had a dip in the sea, I watched them kite surf, and I caught up with washing & my journal etc! Been a lovely few days. Nelson is a nice city, a small city, again not too much to do but very chilled, like everywhere in NZ, and a lovely beach. Being picked up at 230pm by kiwi bus today on to kaiteriteri!
