I got picked up by a smaller kiwi bus today as the big one is full! I took the front co-pilot seat for a glorious drive along the coast to kaiteriteri. There's not a lot to do here but it's a beautiful bay with million dollar houses on the hills, one of which was owned by shania twain! Our hostel did $5 fish & chips which are apparently the best in the South Island! They were pretty good!! Only did the 1night here, soaking up the sun on the beach in the afternoon after a few hours drive from Nelson, then this morning went out for a kayak trip around the bays & rocks of Abel Tasmin national park which was beautiful but unfortunately rained half way through, still a great experience though! Quick shower & back in the front seat of the bus down the coast to Westport!
